theres 2250iu of vit a in 1/2 tsp. my sons rash was only on his face but man

it was bad. i do rotation diet with all foods and write down when new things

are introduced so i am sure it probably was the clo. i wonder if i can go

down to 1/3 tsp or 1/4 tsp to see if that helps. he regressed and had a seizure

like episode (only one time in his life and never again so far) 12 hours

after his mmr vaccine. he just turned 4 and this happened at 16 months. from

there he slowly regressed until all speech was gone. with the mmr reaction he

also got very sick. like his body had some symptoms of the mmr diseases. we

thought vit a would be a good protocol considering he most likely had the gut

measles. whats your opinion? should we work with how much iu he can tolerate?

we are only on our third round of chelation with dmsa only right now (20mg).

he is highest in lead. we will add ala after some dmsa rounds to get lead

moving. he actually has better days on dmsa. his worse days are off days.

is that strange?

For my son, it looks like thick skin with a VERY ITCHY red rash on

it. He got it primarily on his legs, altho it did spread to his arms

and belly. I have read reports of it on other areas of the body tho.

If you continue to give the vitamin A and the rash spreads, then it

is probably toxicity rash. At least that is my experience with my

son [and #4, who got the rash with more than about 2000 IU per day].

How much IU is in 1/2 tsp of that CLO?

Are you sure that this cod liver oil was cleaned from mercury? Many

CLO products are contaminated, and mercury can cause rash. I know

that Nordic Naturals purify their products well (I was told so by

Dr.Holmes). I also use Omega Brite and Coromega.

That would have been too much for my #4, okay for #3, and not nearly

enough for #2.

For both my kids who had the toxicity rash, it really itched.

Try removing it for a few days, then add back at about 1/2 your

current dose.

That is probably true. It might not be toxicity rash, it might be

CLO intolerance. My #2 goes back & forth with tolerating and not

tolerating CLO. Try giving a small sprinkle of TwinLabs Allergy A,

see if you can get up to the same dose without the rash.

>> should we work with how much iu he can tolerate?

This is what I did with my kids.

Not in my experience. My son almost always did much better on round

than off.
