Guest guest
> Might we dare hope that coverage of resurfacing in the FDA's official > consumer magazine might indicate that approval of the Conserve Plus > is not far away? Egad, but that's a horrid sentence! Allow me to restate that in a slightly less obnoxious and repetitive form: " Might we dare hope that coverage of resurfacing in the official FDA consumer magazine indicates that final approval of the Conserve Plus is not far away? " Yes, I like that version *much* better. Steve (post in haste, repent at leisure)

Guest guest
> Well we do know an application has been submitted and answer is due > before June, 2004 (for the Conserve Plus). Of course the people > writing the magazine are not the same people making the final > decisions. That's true, but it's hard for me to imagine an official FDA publication highlighting a procedure which the agency was not going to approve. Particularly in an election year. I mean, think of what the story would look like: " Modern surgical advance allows hip patients to regain full mobility and resume an active lifestyle, but only in other countries because *WE'RE* not going to let Americans have it. Nyah nyah nyah " I just can't picture it. Steve

Guest guest
> I was recently interviewed by FDA magazine concerning my resurfacing > with Dr. Mont and my recovery. They have agreed to come to my house > to take pictures of me working out on my bike trainer to show how > nicely I'm recovering. It's actually warm enough here in Arkansas to ride outside on the weekends. Maybe someday I'll get my hips done.
