Hi Celeste,

I'm 30 years old and on the east coast (New York City and I had my

myo on January 9th and I'm recovering quite well. I had 3 grapefruit

size fibroids and one large 11x16 cm. I lost 8 lbs as a result of my

myo. I did not take Lupron and the reasoning was very similar to

the previous posts. My doctor wanted to ensure he could see all of

my fibroids. I have a bikini cut that is healing quite well.

I am not taking any pain killers and my doctor informed me I should

walk as much as possible. I'm an athlete so the most difficult part

of my surgery is the fact that I have to build myself back to the

way I used to be and I will not be able to run for a few weeks.

My stomach is a bit puffy but that should subside in a few weeks and

I wear form fitting underwear to sleep at night and it really helps

with the puffiness
