Guest guest
It was very obvious that someone had dumped off this young cat for he/she is nothing but skin and, bones. Monday the poor thing kept sitting on my front porch for he probably smells my cat which is indoors only. When I took a closer look at her, I was shocked. She has got bald spots all over her. They don't seem to be infected or red in color and, it looks like someone had shaved her. She does meow at me and, I am too scared to pick her up. When I called Martha at our Liberty Animal Shelter, she told me the next time I see it to call her PDQ so she can set a trap for the poor little thing. Naturally, just like a Policeman, you never see them when you want one. LOL But, the question I do want to ask is; If it's just Mange (sp?) can it be contagious? For my Pom goes out the back yard all the time. She did get her yearly check up and, shots yesterday and, according to her blood and, stool work, she is A-OK. i do belong to ASPA and, the Humane Society of th U.S. and, hate it whenever I see people dumping or injuring an animal because they get tired it. It makes my blood boil. Hopefully Martha can find this cat, nurse it back to health so she can find it a good and, loving home. Thanks for listenting. Love and, Hugs Trudy
