Victory at the Buffet

After writing to you all about Fazoli's, you're going to think I eat out

all the time. Well, I do.

:-)

Anyway, I had a Non-Scale Victory at the buffet tonight and I really

wanted to share it with you! (This is a first for me!!)

I stayed conscious of what I was eating tonight...I heard that little

voice that said, " Who cares, it's only one meal, you'll get back on

program tomorrow " and I told it " NO!! " and I made good choices and I

left the buffet pleasantly full - NOT STUFFED! It felt so good to be in

the moment - in control of what I was doing and the choices I was

making.

I kept track of what I ate on my Palm Pilot so I could journal it when I

got home. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Hometown Buffet is in

the Weight Watchers.com point tracker, so I could actually look

everything up that I ate.

I started out with a big salad using all 0 point veggies and Fat Free

dressing (2 pts)

I had 2 slices of watermelon and a few small chunks of cantaloupe (1 pt)

1 cup of green beans (0 pts), a piece of fish (2) 1/4 cup cottage cheese

(2) a dinner roll with margarine (I didn't even eat all of it...it

wasn't that good - 3 pts) and a choc. chip cookie (3) and a cup of decaf

coffee (0) (and that cookie was YUMMY!!)

13 points!!

I ate out at a buffet successfully!! WOO HOO!
