MAYE SOME OF YOU HAVE experiencedOR KNOW SMTH.OF MY CASE. we are from

lithuania, that is, mom, and pijus, my 13months old boy. unfortunately

we came to know about the ponseti too late. my son's left leg was

operated already. however, the right leg we managed to correct by the

Ponseti treatment. now we are from the full time DBB wear, and myson

is learning to walk. he wears the bar 14-15hours per day.

NOW HERE IS THE BIG PROB! Ponseti says that the child is allowed togo

barefoot or in normal regular shoes. but what about my son's left

opertaed foot? here, in lithuania, sdoctors dont agree among

themselves: one part of them say that barefoot after operation is not

good, others-that it is good, especially walking on tiptoes.

i am so confused, it is so bad when the two feet are treated

differently.

also sad thopughts sometimes bother me. in the future, for instance,

if the operaed foot will relapse and will have to undergoanterior

tendon transfer, for instance, what will i do with the

right-Ponseti-foot? how will i get it in DBB? that means, his right

leg should be put into cast for while? that means we should travel

once more to germany????-(becauSe in our countr. ponseti method is not

yet practised, only introduced)

ah, many questions and i FEEL ALONE...

ANY HELP FROM YOU-WOULD BE JUST ...GOOD FOR ME.
