Guest guest
A while back I made my goal. Since we were going on a 2.5 week vacation and I didn't want to worry about counting points (and I wanted to eat whatever I wanted) I kept losing. When we left I was around 105 lbs. (I am only 5' tall, btw). When we got back I weighed 108.5 lbs-I ate a lot of fast food and other junk but we did a lot of walking and climbing stairs. When I started counting points again (the monday after we got back) I was at 107.5 lbs. I set my points to 24 per day (for maintenance) and then I ate like crazy. I ate a candy bar every day, sometimes 2. I counted points, but I went over every day by 5 or 6 and used all of my flex points and then some-something I had never done before my vacation. I didn't do any exercise whatsoever. The only change I made was to make sure I got 3 dairy servings a day-before vacation I hadn't done that at all. Plus I've been drinking one cup of green tea each day. So now after that first week I weigh in today and am still at 107.5 lbs. How did I not gain weight? (My goal was originally 115 but since I got so low I decided to make it around 110 so I was prepared to gain a pound or two). Could my scale not be working? It is supposed to be a good one-it's a tanita solar scale that good housekeeping rated excellent and accurate a few years ago.
