Guest guest
Over twenty years ago I treated my son's ear infections with tincture of echinacea orally and garlic oil drops in his ears. You can put chunks of garlic in olive oil and let it set for a week or buy the already prepared oil. Being protective of my sons health, I would bring him in to the doctor a week later to make sure it cleared up. I was able to avoid antibiotics for years. I also cleared up strep throat with goldenseal root, and of course got him re-checked to make sure it was gone... There are some herbal remedies that just plain work but you have to be very consistant. You can't just take one or two pills a day like with many drugs. You have to be on it every couple of hours. I am not against the occasional use of antibiodics in an emergency. I just hate to see them over prescribed. They did give me antibiotics in my IV during my hip surgery in Belgium. I wasn't going to mess with my herbal remedies for something like that. I didn't however take any when I got my teeth cleaned several months after surgery. Dr. De Smet said I didn't need to. I took an herbal formula and lots of garlic just in case! June RBHR De Smet 11/27/03 > Subject: RE: {MRSA}Garlic, smelly but healing > > Dear Zoe, > Am curious how you used the garlic---raw? This may or may not be of any use to anybody. > zoe >
