I was diagnosed with Perthes at 7 and, at 42, can no longer stand

the pain. In addition, my left leg is one inch shorter than my

right which is causing back, knee, and even foot problems. At this

point, my left leg has atrophied to almost no muscle and even my

left butt muscles are noticeably atrophied. Naturally, I feel it's

time to address this.

I have been told by a resurfacing surgeon that I may not be a

candidate because the socket may not be deep enough, due to years of

wear against a deformed ball.

This doc currently uses the Corin product.

Does anyone know of another product that may be more suited to my

condition?

Thanks.
