Yes, and I've been doing that instinctly for the last few yrs, when I

started feeling so rough because I just knew it made me feel better. When

I'm feeling like that, I've learned to eat a little high protein (meat,

nuts, eggs--small amts), then a piece of fruit, but not large amts at one

time, or I just get irresistibly sleepy and sluggish. Yet I've never had an

insulin test, but have thought about it now and then.

Insulin has no reaction to protein.
