Guest guest
I've heard rumors on the official WW site that the new program is a " selection " program. I'm wondering if it's like their old program of years ago. I agree with you, I don't like the flex points at all. But to each his own, I know some love it. I quit going to my meetings for a variety of reasons. I like the leader as a person, she has sent me postcards encouraging me, which I thought was nice. But I'm not a meeting person, never clicked with anyone, so I quit. Not to mention the weird behavior I exhibited on meeting days. My meetings (only ones available in my small town) were at 6 pm. Well, starting about 2 pm I went to the bathroom a million times. I would weigh clothes to see which weighed less. I quit drinking water at about 3 because that adds weight. I played all those stupid games and just finally said, " This is stupid. " So now I weigh in the morning, second thing. ;-) Lyn WW New program I went to a meeting today and here in AZ the new program is going to be rolled out on or after Aug 22. The meetings I've been to, have been poorly attended. I suspect the difficulty with journaling flex points might be a problem. I had very much difficulty journaling flex points - tried it for a few weeks and it was a real pain. So went back to Winning Points which works very well for me. I wonder why they changed to Flex Points anyway since Winning Points was working so well. Anyway, I think a lot of people won't be like me and just switch back to Winning Points. Or maybe the older members switched back to Winning Points but the new joins found Flex Points too arduous but did not KNOW Winning Points. Let's hope the new roll out is going to solve some of the difficulty of journaling flex points because journaling is one of the strengths of the WW tool. Guest guest
Yeah, I found too that I got in trouble trying to use the new flex points program.. I did not like their new journal at all. I went back to the Winning Points and track with the low to high end and bank points..this was the one I started with, but I was very excited about the new one, the flex, when it came out and tried to do it, but I was quickly discourange with it..I found the extra 35 points was a killer for me, because I have a lot of red-light foods that I just cannot handle yet and they seem to be an excuse to have some, only to set me on some rollercoaster..I know I did not need to use them, but I did and they were too many. And that new journal well!!, I ended up making my own, similiar to the winning points one... I guess we all have a choice which one to use, because so many of you can handle the extra 35 points per wk and do great with it..I wish I was one of you. But I know I am not, because I did give it a good try when it came out..I feel so much more in control and happier doing it the Winning Points way. BUT now WW has me so curious again as to what this new info on the program will be...won't be long will it?? I just hope they make a really sensible journal.. ~~Kallie~ > I went to a meeting today and here in AZ the new program is going to be > rolled out on or after Aug 22. > > The meetings I've been to, have been poorly attended.
