I stopped taking my hormone pills after nearly twenty years, but I wouldn't dare stop the Prozac. I have only had one mild hot flash since I stopped the Premarin six weeks ago, but if I were to stop Prozac, I become super depressed and suicidal. If you are not taking an antidepressant, get your doc to help you explore the different ones available to find one that's right for you. Keep us posted on how you are doing, and if possible, find someone you can talk to about these things, too. It really helps. Come to the board every day and whine, if that's what you need. Guest guest Posted March 12, 2004 Report Share Posted March 12, 2004 -thanks so much you are so right if it wasnt for my prozac the last 10 years somebody maybe me would not be alive today i amvery careful these days not to miss one and he did just up me to 3. he even said this is better than the new weekly prozac. i don't know but I promise next week I am findindind out about that super shot they gave me.
