Guest guest
When my daughter broke her proximal humerous, she had that sling. But, we also wrapped wide ace bandages around her arm and chest for more stabalization. Maybe that will help. It's hard to get a proper fit with those slings. could still move her arm in it. Re: Damb Shoulder AGAIN :-< i woke at 4am this morning in PAIN in this shoulder, my shoulder did clunk after about 15-30 min's so i wonder if i subluxed it in the immobiliser <eek>. i have taken 2 doses already of my breakthrough med (Codiene liquid)and my 60mg morning dose of MsContin andit is only 7:40am :-<. i am still in a LOT of pain and think that a MRI or something may be needed to rule out further damge etc. Anyone know of anything better than the immobiliser sling?? you know the pouch one with the strap that goes about your body to " lock " your arm down??? as f i am subluxing inthis then it isn't doing me much good is it?? Sharon :-< Darn Joints... p.s Nansy thanx for the suggestion , i hope i can talk my gp into it and can afford it... > Sharon, > I would suggest you have a MRI of the shoulder if it doesn't feel better soon. > Sincerely, S.
