Guest guest
Hi Barb and welcome, I noticed the same thing with my own blood pressure (was high-normal on 125 mcg Synthroid, switched to 1.5 gr Armour and went up to just plain old high shortly after). I was terrified that I had permanent damage from being untreated, then undertreated for so long! Thankfully, after raising my dose to 2.5 grains (1/2 grain at a time over a 3 month period) it started to go down to high-normal again. My doc wanted to decrease my Armour after seeing that my TSH was fully suppressed, but I knew that would be going in the wrong direction, so I increased my dose and my blood pressure came down a bit more. I think it might return to normal soon. > Hi... I started taking Armour a little over 2 weeks ago. Started with 30 mg > (1/2 gr) once a day. Just went to 45 mg a few days ago. > > Overall my temps are better, and I notice a lot of little improvements, plus > have way more energy. Guest guest
I am on 1 1/2 grains. My dr. has me taking 1 grain in the morning, and 1/2 in the evening. To spread it out - since the T3 disapates over the day. I'm planning on adding to it on my own. I'm probably going to up my evening to 1 full grain. Then, I'm not sure where I'll add after that. She wanted the biggest 'umph' in the morning though. But - this is a doctor talking! I would bet the members here would have a much better idea!!!! Cris New here - have questions Hi... Guest guest
My blood pressure also came down ALOT once I got close to my optimal dose. I would say not to panic, you are on a very tiny dose of Armour, and I doubt it is causing the rise in it. Artistic Grooming Hurricane, West Virginia --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Guest guest
>>I would bet the members here would have a much better idea!!!! << Not really! I take the lion's share (3 grains)of my dosage when I first get up around 5 AM. Then around 10:30AM I take a couple more grains, then 3 PM 1 grain then bedtime 1 grain.
