Oops - you are right. My daughter was dx with hypotonia. Early

Intervention is great. In every state the program works a little

different and each state calls their program something different (in

Missouri it is called First Steps). My daughter gets all her therapy

through this program. In some states the program is completely free

and in other states it can cost. For us, Sophie was evaluated for

what services she needed and for how often she needed the services.

Once she is approved for services, we search a matrix of therapist in

the area. We are able to contact the therapist to find one in which

we are comfortable with. The therapists are either associated with a

hospital, a company or self-employed. It is definitely something you

should look into. Here's a link to the Michigan's program called
