Swept Away

Good morning everyone! Hope you are all well and if not, plugging

through until you do feel well. I am feeling great today! My dh

surprised me last night with a card that said " Nobody deserves this

more than you so pack your overnight bag and we're going to an

undisclosed location for the weekend " Just he and I - no kids - can

you imagine that? I sure can't! We've been together 20 years (18

married) and he has never planned a vacation of any sort ....ever!

So, needless to say, I'm excited, a little nervous. Don't know how

the kids will do 17, 15, 13, 12 - Jeff said they'll manage and he's

got out neighbors on board so they'll keep an eye on things. I have

no clue where we could be headed. He said it's 2 flights (can't be

too long because we're only gone from Friday morning until Sunday

afternoon) and to bring clothes for 75 degree weather. hmmmmmmm

I just wanted to share some good and exciting news! I will

check in next week and give you the update. My husband is so proud

of himself, for planning this surprise for me and he said, " You

know, life is short, you deserve a weekend away from it all - and

that's just what we're going to do! "

Prayers and good thoughts for everyone waiting for test results and

for those having treatments - hope all goes well.
