Dr. Ponseti called me first thing this morning and reassured me that

nine months is not too late to start treatment, my son doesn't need

surgery and he said the treatment would be successful. He doesn't

know of any doctors in Maine that use his method, but he said Dr.

Mack at Shriner's would be good. I'm supposed to call Dr. Mack's

office this afternoon to see if they can see my son sooner than the

end of this month.

Thank you all so much for the information you gave me. I feel like a

huge burden has been lifted from my shoulders knowing that my son

won't need surgery. We've actually now saved him from three

surgeries. Thank you so much.
