How long between each cast, minimum and maximum?

Hi Everyone,

Im 30wks pregnant and my baby has Talipes on its right foot.

Ive got a referal to a specialist in Ponsetti methods (trained in

America with Dr Ponsetti).

However havent seen anyone as yet.

My baby isnt due till the end of November, so only a few short weeks

till Christmas.

Ive heard that cast are often done every 5-7days, however worried

about the Christmas period. Often hospitals like to start slowing

down and doing limited treatment over Christmas and New Year.

What would they do if they had done 3 cast then it was Christmas and

New Year? Would they let the 4th one stay on a bit longer? If so how

long can they keep the cast on?

I dont drive and so also worried about getting to hospital when

transport is limited due to Xmas and New Year holidays.

Any help appreciated, especially from anyone who has experienced

treatment during holiday periods.
