Guest guest
My name is Ginny and I live in Sunny Florida. I was a WW lecturer in the 70's so I'm a lifetime member and not new to dieting. To make a very long story short my weight was up and down over the years and after reaching goal twice it was more up than down until I reached 260 lbs. I got my act together and lost 96 lbs. Around the holidays last year I started going back to old habits and after wearing size 12 jeans at Christmas I started gaining. Since then I've been up and down with the same 20 lbs. Saturday morning I started over. I got on the scale and I weighed 187. I have fooled arouund long enough. I am not going to lie to myself any more or " play around " with the program. I am determined to lose the remaining 57 lbs. My goal weight is 129 and I'm going to do it ! I started on the low range of points - 22 - and I've had 4 perfect days ! I'll be on this list every day to be accountable. I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you - well maybe not all. That's a lot of people LOL ! Thanks if you've read this far : ) Ginny

Out of a curiosity, why did you choose 129 as opposed to a round even 130? D. 253/234.5/150 Hi I'm New ! My name is Ginny and I live in Sunny Florida. Guest guest
I knew that if I set my goal at 130 I wouldn't be able to stay there. There is something psychological about breaking through a " barrier " to the next set of numbers when you're losing - like breaking through the 190's to 189. It makes yiou feel pumped. For me it works in reverse as well. As long as I stayed under 130 I was in control and maintained my weight for over 2 years. Then we moved and built a house and I was under a lot of stress. I hit 133 and then it was 135, 139 etc etc. Having my goal at 129 gave me a " ceiling " and staying in the 120's made me feel like I wouldn't lose control. Also at that weight 4 lbs was a pants size ! Now it takes more like 24 LOL ! Thanks for the welcome : ) Ginny 260-186-129 Goal for 2004 380 Pages Completed 485 Hi I'm New !
