Guest guest
Well, I FINALLY got down to Applebee's to try out their new menu. My husband and I went for lunch and the food was great. One thing that surprised me was the prices! My shrimp skewers were $10.99 and compared w/ a normal portion-size meal, that seemed a little pricey to me. The onion soup (which was very good) was about $4, so that wasn't too bad. I guess the extra care and preparation on these meals ups the price a bit, but I won't be going there for lunch again. =) We figured that it would be much more cost effective to go for dinner when he doesn't feel like cooking. (I'm not allowed near the stove since my " salty pancakes " incident.) 175/165/
Guest guest
I went and got the mesquite chicken salad, I think it was called. It was only 4 points and I thought it was good. My friend's regular chicken slad was HUGE compared to mine. Just goes to show you how much restaurants over portion things. D'Ann Hotten wrote: I had the Baja Chicken Wrap. It was really good, but you could tell that the portion sizes are vastly different. My friend ordered the Oriental Chicken Wrap off of the regular menu, and half of her wrap was as big as my whole wrap!
