Dear ,

Just a note here - the skin biopsy can only confirm Vascular EDS at this

time. It also checks for a marker they think may be linked to Classical but if

it comes out negative that doesn't mean you don't have Classical. There are no

other tests - EDS is mostly dx'd by clinical observation and a history (see the

articles on the CEDA site).

Just want to make sure you are aware of this going in.

Good luck with the shoulder, - been there, done that myself. Only

thing I can say about it is it was way too hard to pull up my own pants!
