But that Friday that I ended up in the ER was because I couldn't find a ride to my doctor's office in time. So I know how irritating that can be. So now we are trying to get the lastest appointments of the day like around 4;30 so that way Dwight can take me. Lin -- Re: Tonia Re the hating to have to help with things DITTO. My turn to add to the whine. It especially is provoking when you can't even pull off transportation to the doctor's. This is just too much sometimes. I usually as so emotionally good at keeping things in proportion but even that has been a struggle lately. I don't know, folks. My heart is just aching for all of these folks that I love who are grappling with such big losses. Life is so confusing sometimes. Guest guest Posted December 13, 2004 Report Share Posted December 13, 2004 Sheri and Lin, Sometimes it could just mean that the new place is "mirroring" the symptoms from the old area that has the RSD. Like if you already have it in your right leg but not the left.....and all of a sudden the left starts to tingle or swell, that is called Mirroring (or mimicking). Tonia, I have had pain in my right leg for about 4 months now with it growing in intensity until now there are days that My right side is not only swelling but the burning pain is there also, I haven't had any tingling in either one of my legs. My doctor wasn't too surprised because on that full body scan there was some action going on in my right hip. I was actually somewhat surprised that my left knee actually got the disease, because my right leg knee has been my bad knee for 20 years or so, it would actually just start hurting so bad I couldn't walk on it for no reason, so that fact that I always kept my soft brace with me on walks. Now I get to go a gastrointernologist I have no idea how to spell that because of some stomach problems.
