Guest guest
Tanja, Social security has a law called 14.06. It is one of there disability classifications. Under this category is undifferentiated connective tissue disorders under which EDS falls. So yes it is a disability. But it will take alot of documentation on you and your Dr's part to get the ball rolling. If you are going to apply for SSD start now, it's along process!!!!! I had to cash in stocks, deplete my savings, rely on my husband's parents, then take out a home equity money line before I was approved and started getting my checks. First one on this past Feb 12th. I had been out of work sinch Maech 2002. Good luck, hope this helps. Write me anytime, Sincerely, son Disability??? > Hi Everyone > > I am not sure if Ehlers-Danlos is a disability... I would like to know if I have the right to apply for financial assistance, I can't find a job I can do without having to quit after a week or so. It sure does feel like a dissability, when I am stuck at home because of it. > When I have to vaccum, I have to split it up in 3, and that is just for the living room. > And if I do have the right to apply, does anyone know where I go to do this? > Thank You > > > > Hugs Tanja, Calgary > > > > --------------------------------- > Post your free ad now!
