Outcome of razor birthday incident

Hi I just thought I would post the outcome to Collin's 3rd birthday

incident I had posted last week. I met with the owner of the dollar

store today and gave him the box of razor blades we found in the

candy balloon weights called " Treets " (a terrible name for razors)

and he aplogized to me and I showed it to him and he just explained

that he thinks someone through them in the bin used to make the

candy weights after glancing at the colorful box and the word Treets

on it and it just was a terrible mistake. He asked what he could do

for us, I just said what ever you would like the most important

thing to me is that you pulled the items from your shelf and check

them before someone can become seriously hurt. (I felt if anything

at all we should be reimbursed for the purchase that day which was

only like $16.00) But I didn't tell him that. He gave me a $30.00

gift slip to his store. I'm just glad its over... I really didn't

care that we get anything, just that they be more careful and check

all of the other items in the store, etc.... He said they did do a

good check, etc.....(Sorry I know this was non clubfoot related, but

thought I should share the outcome since I vented last week)

Wow! Im still amazed that this happened. Good for you for taking the
