My husband and I are planning on moving in about a year from the

Houston Independent School District to one of the following:

Spring

Cy-Fair

Tomball

Klein

Can anyone make any suggestions in looking for a good program for my

son who will be about 6 and has been diagnosed with PDD-NOS. His

main areas are his speech delay and some socialization issues. He

also needs to learn visually. He has come a long way, but HISD isn't

very accomidating with special needs.

If anyone has a child in one of these school districts please let me

know what type of programs, if the school is helpful, how your child

has progressed, etc.

My son needs a lot of one on one attention, but I would like him to

be as mainstreamed as possible and still excel in his learning.

Any help would be wonderful.

I am in the CCISD and have heard from others that

Cy-Fair is responsive to their childrens needs. I

have a 7 yr old pdd-nos mainstreamed in first grade,

we have been grateful for our teachers dedication,

contact me off-list if you have any questions. Dawn
