So, I feel a bit neglected.

Let me persist.

Is a cup of grapes 1 point or 2?

Ummm...I just eat 'em. I get a bunch that looks to be about the size

that might fit in a cup, if I had a cup nearby. If it's a little more,

I don't sweat it. And then I eat them. I count them as one point. If I

eat them three times a day, I count it as 3 points.

Hi Mitch,

Whenever I have a doubt I take the middle road--use 1.5 points.

The core program is new to Weight Watchers. There is a restrictive list of

foods that you have access to, and you don't need to count any points. You

have 35 points you can use however you would like. Those are extra points

for foods not listed in the core list of foods. There have been those who

have posted the list online, but they are usually removed quickly because WW

has probably copywrited the list and so they block it quickly. Someone

posted a while ago where you could find the list. The easiest and perhaps

best way to get information is to join WW, either online or in person. That

way you have accurate information, and support.

Mostly, the types of foods you do have access to are those high in fiber

(but not bread), fruit, lean meats and vegi's. So, you could have oatmeal

(for example) or some kind of grain for breakfast and some fruit and 8 oz

milk for breakfast. Eat what your body requires not until you are full.

For me, I could eat a lot of Oatmeal! In any case, a salad with chicken

breasts and vegi's for lunch, And the following recipe is a sample dinner

from WW web site:

Ingredients

4 oz uncooked boneless, skinless chicken breast(s)

2 Tbsp teriyaki sauce

1 tsp olive oil

1 medium garlic clove(s) minced

4 cup spinach torn

5 oz sweet potato(es) cooked

Instructions

Preheat broiler. Coat chicken with teriyaki sauce. Broil until no

longer pink. Heat oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Saute

garlic. Add spinach, season to taste and saute until wilted. Serve chicken

with sweet potato and spinach.

That is what a day might look like. You could use some of the 35 points to

have a sandwich since bread isn't on the core food list. and use the other

core foods to make the sandwich on program. SO, this is probably more than

you wanted to know, but its better to have too much information than not

enough. Well sometimes!

I like that about Core. I can eat beans, corn, fruit, and things like

that without counting. I feel that I eat more that way.
