Guest guest
I don't think the show is cruel or damaging to anyone. These people knew what they were getting into. They knew it was a contest. They also know that the winner is going to walk away with $250,000. I think a piece of cake would be very easy to pass up if I had a chance of walking away with that kind of money. If they didn't vote people off or make the show a little hardcore it would be just like Dr. Phil or Oprah. This is hardcore weightloss. If you think about losing weight is hardcore. It looks so easy when you watch the people on Dr. Phil. They have their dieticians to plan the meals, all the fancy weightloss equipment given to them, counseling from Dr. Phil....that's easy. They even get makeovers to come on his show. I should be so lucky. I could do it in a heartbeat. These people may not be learning that losing weight is a lifestyle, not a diet. They are learning that if you eat less and exercise more you will lose weight. They are learning what it feels like to get on the scales and lose weight and what it feels weight to stall. They are learning to WANT it. I really haven't become attached to any of them yet. It doesn't matter to me who wins or loses at this point. I just watch it to see how much they lose each week. It hits so close to home when they get on the scales. I can feel what they're going through. I love the show and I can't wait to watch it next week. Gail S. Guest guest
I haven't been watching the show, but I had to weigh in on this. I don't deposit fat on my hips, even now, carrying an extra 20#'s you can see my hip bones. Plus I have large hipbones even though the rest of my bones are tiny, go figure! <<<<<<<The woman PT is too thin. If you can see your hip bones, you do not have enough body fat for functioning as a normal woman.>>>>>>>>> Abnormal? Maybe her body just deposits muscle and fat differently. Any doctors out there like to voice an opinion on this, 'cause I think it poses an interesting question, since I believe she's in ideal condition.
