I used to bleed so hard for 1-2 of the days that I pretty much could not leave the house...and sometimes even made a mess all over the place. This time I was down to about 8 days, but hardly any clotting and of those 8 days, days 5,6,7 & 8 were hardly even there. This is interesting....when I was on no thyroid, I did not have any periods for the last several years. After going on two grains, I got my periods back, but days 2-3 were radically heavy...lots of clots and pouring out at times. NOw that I am up to 3 1/2 grains, the period was more like 4 main days followed by a few days of die off, and only one heavy day. My question is: since I will be 49 in a few days, is this lessening likely only premenopause??? Any way I can tell? I SOOOOoooo do not want to lose my periods, as I am quasi normal/regular for the first time in most of my life. Still hoping I might be able to get pregnant after I get enough mercury out of me. Maybe I am too old...most would probably say so. But I feel like I am just starting out in life....does that sound strange? ~Inga > So it is possible that if you were already > having light periods, that yours changed down to one day.
