Mercury hides in brain, not esp attracted to bones. Lead hides in bones Chelation is the best thing I know of to get mercury out. I think this is an individual case sort of thing. Bear in mind that mercury causes a VERY WIDE range of problems. I would GUESS that SOME damage is chronic (I don't think of things as " irreversible " LOL). But this is all GUESSING. We don't have 2 copies of a person to compare, one who was mercury poisoned and one who wasn't, to see if the detoxed person is every " just like " the one never toxic.
