I was told that these are not allowed at sanctioned meets but their meet is not sanctioned (i.e. not on the Olympic path) so that's a silly reason. When I pointed that out to them I got a " just because " answer. **sigh** I can see it now. When they break down the barriers to recumbents, I'll do Danskin.
