I'm 47, live in England and have 2 teen-aged sons. I have only Discoid LE which was first diagnosed at 17 and is confined to my face and scalp although I do get more generalised rashes in the sun. I take Methetoxrate 10mg a week but over the years have tried everything, Tigasol, Etretinate, all the anti-malarials, topical creams, diathermy, laser treatment, cutting out the lesions and even Thalidomide.
