Pudding Candy Treat

I am not sure if it was someone on this list who posted about what

they did with their sf ff puddings..If your here a big thank-you!!

I would like to say that was one of the best sweet saver I have come

across in awhile..I have some in my freezer all the time.. The funny

part was when our neighbors came over one night and I was sharing the

idea with the wife, she loved it.. and when the guys realized we were

having this treat, they said don't we get some, so I laughed and said

sure if you want, well, they ended up cleaning up the rest..

The only difference I did was to make them just a little bit bigger

than the maple buds choc. you buy because a teaspoon was too large

for my liking and I like them better as just a bite size, as they are

frozen hard..

Also they freeze harder if you put them in just a regular freezer if

you have one, or just leave them in longer.. it don't matter I guess

how long anyway, as that is where you keep them...

and once froze good ,I divide them into little baggies, so when I

bring one out I can leave it in my house freezer. Just popping one in

the mouth when you feel the urge for a sweet is great.. It is like

having a smooth hard candy.

So now since I will be gone all day I will post what this recipe is

about just in case it was not posted here.

Use any flavor light pudding you like. I know they call for 2 cups of

milk.. I have tried it with using the 2 cups and 1 and 1/2 cup and

then with 1 cup of milk..

I prefer using the 1 and 1/2 cups as it seems to be the happy medium

for me.. the 2 full cups was just that little bit icy, but still

ok..I may try it again with this much and see if it is better

somehow.. But it is a great new way to do your pudding and it seems

to go farther this way too, as I find I will throw 6 or 7 of these

little frozen buds in a baggie or just go get them off the tray and

that is enough for that craving..

You can put them on wax paper or not depending on your tray you

freeze them on..

Now my sister has used chocolate and added mint flavor and said it is

great.. or use vanilla and maybe try peanut butter flavor or coconut

etc ...

Some of you may enjoy this as well..

Hey Kallie -

Can you help this old lady figure out the pudding treats you were

describing? They sound good, but you lost me on a couple of things.

What are maple chocolate buds?

From your description it sounds like you make the regular sf ff pudding

recipe, using 1 1/2 cups of milk, and then SPOON them onto something, and

freeze them for quick bites of sweet? Is this right? But you add something

to the recipe?

Help?

Bette
