I had this problem with my son. I traced it to several issues, not sure I would be able to articulate it too well. Dana

This has happened with yeast treatments, chelation, homeopathic secretin and a number of other supps. The improvements have sometimes been instant and quite dramatic - increased verbal attempts (practically saying some words, really " with it " ) and then it's as if someone switches the light back off as quickly again. Okay here are some random thoughts. First, my son needed almost everything introduced individually. For example, I would give a multi, and he would improve for a few days because something in the multi was helping, then regress because something else in the multi was causing problems. Second, sometimes my son only needed a few days of " loading " and then no longer needed the supplement. ANY supplement I gave, beyond the time that he actually needed it, would cause regression. Sometimes the dose needed to be lowered, not entirely removed. Sometimes the dose needed to be increased. For vitamin A, once the high dose protocol was effective, I can't give my son more than maybe 250 IU of vitamin A per WEEK, otherwise the toxicity symptoms and the visuals will return. **Note on the B6/B12 issue. I was giving B6/B12/folic acid together. This caused nice improvements for a few days, then scripting. Per the suggestion here that B12 can cause scripting, and because after entirely removing the B vitamins my kids started scripting again [and #4 started asking too many questions again], I added back ONLY the B6 and now the scripting is gone again, plus some other behaviors including defiance are gone, and nice cooperative things are back. Strangely enough, my son's visuals had hinted at returning again, but the B6 stopped that also. I will be trying this B6/magnesium info now. Specifically, you mentioned " yeast treatments, chelation, homeopathic secretin and a number of other supps. " For yeast treatments, my son did not tolerate probiotics, except Culturelle ONLY when he had bacteria. Once the bacteria was gone, he stopped tolerating the Culturelle. Also, GSE causes bad bacteria for my kids, if the yeast is gone. Chelation: ALA caused yeast for my kids. Also depleted biotin. I have not used homeopathics or secretin, so I can't comment on that. If you list some of the other supplements, I might have ideas for you. Good luck, it is frustrating. Dana

Seems our body stores some of the supplements and what it takes to deplete the source, I don't know. But I noticed I don't need as much as I did when I first took them. HA! I hear ya, here! One more thought is that during chelation, my son would improve for a week or two [or sometimes longer] and then regress back to nearly where he was before. I did trace it to viral issues. Addressing the viral issues has been very beneficial. Dana
