Guest guest
Hello All!!! Sorry I have not written sooner...But it has been a busy few days with all the stuff going on about my son's feet:) As everyone knows I had wrote last about talking to my son's Dr. about the information Dr. P had sent back to me after looking at the pictures I sent. I called and talked with his secraty, told her that I had been in touch with Dr. Ponseti, and wanted to share the information with him. Since he was not available..(he was in sergury that day) I got his e-mail address and sent everything to him . He did get back to me...but on the computor, not by phone:) It was a great way to get this over with!!! Since I was so worried ...Anyhow, we are going tomorow for his first casting:) and will be getting 3 or 4, depending on how they look after the 3rd. My Dr. also has been in touch with Dr. P. and they are CC ing all our e-mails and I will be taking pictures of the progress so Dr. P. can see. My Dr. was really good about all this and he is in contact with Dr. Ponseti often. The funny thing is, I still do not know if its a relapse or if the feet did not fully correct? I will have to ask Dr. tomorow. Has anyone been in castings at 22 mo? Can anyone give me a heads up on what I'm in for? My son is very active, nd not being able to get around will not sit well with him:) What things can I do to make him comfortable, and what can I do to entertain & keep busy? How am I going to bath him? AHHHH Everything is happening all at once, Trying to get the perfect day to cast, and not messing up his time needed with the specialist that are cking him on all kinds of stuff, but mostly to find if he is Autistic. I'm sorry this is so long....!! Thank you all for the information and suport through all this!!! I don't know where we would be without it:) So, if anyone can give us a little insite on what to expect, I could really use it... thanks, Carole & Baby Kris born w/ Bilateral CF 6-11-
