Guest guest
Hi Pat, You went through the proverbial wringer today! I do hope your eye heals well! I'm so happy to hear that my words helped you. I was afraid after sending it that someone might misinterpret my words to be gloating or to sound like I " know it all. " I DON'T !! I'm still learning, and in fact expect to continue to learn -- probably forever, since this is clearly going to be a permanent lifestyle change for me. I just wanted to share what I've discovered -- so far! -- along this journey. Over this 14-month journey with WW, many many times I've been almost to another set of numbers and many times I seem to stall right there, just THIS side of that all-important number! It's been tempting to sink into frustration, but I'm learning to be patient with myself (not easy for me!). You sound like you're learning that too. My encouragement to you is Yes! Do stay the course! It's SO worth it! YOU are so worth it! Hugs to you! Bette
Guest guest
Hi Bette; Many thanks Bette for your kind words of encouragement and support. My eye is not so sore this morning, and the blurring is almost gone. And, I am feeling a lot less disappointed, and more encouraged. I will keep on doing what I know has been working this past 4 months. It has most surely became a new way of life for me, and my husband. I have stepped up my activity level quite a bit. That makes me feel better, too! I guess I was just a little too impatient for more results a little faster than my body wanted to present to me at this time. It is truly tempting to get caught up in the numbers issue and let that define me alone. Thank you again for being there for me. All the best to you, always.
