Guest guest
Hi Caroline, I had my UFE Oct. 21. I was having my periods every 12 days. The embo helped me immediatly. I have only had one period so far. It took 50 days to get that one. It was very light, and only lasted 4 days. I did have alot of spotting. Everyone is different after having UFE on how they progress. I belong to the embo group here at yahoo. We all have had UFE or considering it. You should join us and read all the past info, it really has helped me. Not alot of info on it since it is a newer proceedure. I have not been back to have any MRIs yet, but my husband told me he can tell the fibroid has shrunk alot! And I no longer have painful sex. Hope this helps some. Jill > Happy New Year Ladies! Guest guest
Good Morning Ladies! Thank you Edith, Jill and Deanna for your replies. I must say that I do not have have spontaneous bleeding between periods nor cramps. I was just very surprised that after my second period after the procedure, I bleed heavily during the 2nd and 3rd days of my cycle. I look forward (not really *smile*) to the next one to see how heavy I bleed. I am supposed to get a MRI next month so it will be interesting to see whether the fibroids have shrunk and by how much. In any event, have a great day everyone!
