Guest guest
PLUS — I have the stinking high cholesterol that runs in my family so I can’t do the no carbs, all the fat you can eat diets. I went for bloodwork today for a lipid panel – and asked for a T3F, T3F and TSH to see how I am doing on my lowered thryoid med dose since June..my TSH was .001, my T3F was 412 on range of 230 to 420 and my T3f was only 1.9 on range of 1.8 to 2.5....! I was on .100 mcg Levoxyl and .25 mcg of Cytomel and got wicked diarreaha as well and so I went to .88 mcg levoxyl and .15 mcg of T3 except on weekends... The numbers should be in by Monday...i am curious to see what happens, Sue See, this is what I'm trying to say. Did you try the calculator? I eat about 1300 calories a day, mainly turkye, low fat cheese, fish, fresh fruit and veggies, v8, tons of salad which I love with balsamic vinegar and garlic, etc... I do 30 minutes of cardi 3x a week and hand weights and floor exercises 3 x a week and I haven’t lost an ounce in two months... This is getting more than annyoing. Guest guest
Mycoplasma Pneumonea O.M.G.!!! my turkey teenagers had this and they gradually suffered and most died until I found out about a pig medicine called Deneguard (Tiamutin, tiamulin) which cured them (the surviving ones) in 3 days. funny thing .....most of the meds that agriculture uses..... are NOT used by humans, nor are they suggested for use by humans . I suspect because they dont want humans (germs?) to get immune to it? --------------------------------------------------------------- so now i'm wondering....how did they diagnose it? sputum culture? and also wondering...since I have had pneumonia 3 times for sure, ....and probably 4 maybe...should I be tested for that too? if not sputum culture...then .....what test was able to for sure...diagnose it? Thanks (the other) carolyn ------- Original Message ------- From : Sent : 6/7/2010 5:27:58 PM To : RT3_T3 Cc : Subject : RE: Re: weight I have begun losing weight. FINALLY. I not only had RT3 issues but I recently learned I have Mycoplasma Pneumonea. THIS si what has caused my symptoms I was beginning to worry about being Cyclical Cushings for years! I get the infeciton activated adn my coritls goes high to fight it, thne it gets better or I take BA's and the high cortiosl symptoms go away. But I was never taking ENOUGH of the right antibiotics to get RID of this so it kept coming back. I suspect I have had it for 15 years. I also think it is what wrecked my adnreals along with stress of being so hypo 15 years ago. At any rate wiht the Biaxin I am tkaing now, my glucose is HUGELY improved to the point I am takign abitou 1/8th the insulin I was on a year ago! And lower insulin and insulin resistance and lwoered cortils is allowing me ot FINALLY lose some weight. I dropped 10 pounds since I have been on Biaxin. SO getting theyroid right si what it takes for MOST people but if it doesn;t work then do not stop looking for other problems!

Guest guest
There is specific Mycoplasma Pneumonia antibody tests they can do now called Mycoplasma Pneumonia IgM/IgG Abs available thorugh Private MD Labs. Though this si supposed ot be a mild form of pneumonia, I almost died from ti when I was 40 but i was so weak and ill then it would not have taken much to finish me off. Then gain in 2007 I was VERY ill with it again and really thought I would die. I have had bronchitis or upper respiratory infectiosn EVRY year this this one when I have gotten my Vitamin D good. I also thing the 1200mg ALA (I take is helping heal my lungs form all this damage. But the Myacin family of drugs are what is needed to treat this, and Biaxin is the strongest of these. Azithromycin was knowcking it back, but it would return wihtin 2 weeks to a monnth after stopping it.. -- http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/
Guest guest
I don't want to discourage ANYONE here. But my weight went UP 25 pounds after starting the T3 regimen in early November. It is still 20 pounds up but at least now is not still going up. The weight suddenly jumped up 10 pounds in week 3 of T3 only and then just kept going up even on my very restricted diet. I was already on the specific carbohyrdate diet which had resulted in a good weight loss, gradually continuing until I was 10 pounds from my goal. This is a low carb approach, as I cannot eat any grains, starchy vegetables or sugars except honey. The new Armour caused some weight gain last year, but then when I switched to NT, it went back down. I keep hoping for a breakthrough but this is THE most frustrating part of the treatment for me. Sherry > > This might be shallow, but has anyone else lost weight when taking the Cytomel for Reverse T3? I start tomorrow. I have gained 30 lbs this past year and a half. I want to feel better, but have to admit, I would LOVE to lose some of this weight. > > Robyn >

Guest guest
I noticed that all I want to do is eat right now. Not sure if I'm needing the energy, or what??? I'm tired so much. I have been on a 28 day candida diet that my doctor had put me on, and now I'm off of it, but I'm not going back to the bad way of eating, either. When I crashed in March, I lost 15 lbs. I'm at a good weight now, and don't want to lose OR gain anymore!.....We'll see! Subject: Re: weightTo: RT3_T3 Date: Friday, June 11, 2010, 12:18 AM I don't want to discourage ANYONE here. Guest guest
I've gained weight too since starting T3 and HC. Not sure which is the cause but I've gained 15 lbs and my RT3 cleared several weeks ago. I am on the lower end of the range for Free T3 though and I am working to get that up. I'm currently at 56.25 mcg but I haven't dropped one lb since increasing from 37.5, so I don't have a lot of hope for losing the weight once I get to the top of the range but I hope I'm wrong. And I have this gut too that is the most annoying part. It's this little round pot/beer belly. oh, and I eat a low carb diet as well. > > > > This might be shallow, but has anyone else lost weight when taking the Cytomel for Reverse T3? I start tomorrow.
