Guest guest Posted February 20, 2004 Report Share Posted February 20, 2004 I'm one of the Belgian Hippies from '02 who hasn't posted much because I am busy living life to the fullest. I recently joined two different tennis leagues and just got off the court after playing a hard fought match. We lost 4-6 in the third against a tough team, but I felt very good about the way I played. We were the underdogs going in and boy, did we them a run for their money. Before my surgery, after serving just one ball, I wouldn't have been able to move. Today, I served and volleyed all three sets! About a week ago, another bilateral Belgian hippie, Saeed, came to LA and we played doubles together, winning 2 out of 3 sets against two guys at one of the local parks.
