Guest guest
Hey Tia, I was just wondering how the DBB problems are going? Have you found anything in particular to work the best? I'm always looking for idea's Collin just turned 3 in August too, and I can sympathize with you we have had some super tough nights. Collin was always cooperative until April when we gave up the house we were renting to buy, we couldn't move in our new home until June once we bought because of painting, etc so we stayed with family from mid April until the beginning of June and during that period is where all of our problems started with the DBB. It has been getting better and better but I still feel like its a fight each night. He wakes up a lot in the middle of the night crying he wants his nigh nigh shoes off. I have tried rewards etc. but he usually just says I don't want it I just want my shoes off!!! I have tried pennies for his bank, bribing him by saying he could have 3 mm's when he wakes up (he came up with 3 ..he says one for this foot, one for this foot, and one for my mouth mommy.) I hope Kelby is doing better, but any tips on what ended up working for you would be kindly appreciated. P.S. I notice that when Collin sleeps on his floor rather then bed he seems to sleep with out waking up and whineing, but when he's in his bed he is always waking up and wanting them off, I don't know if its because the bar is 12 " so he doesn't have room or what. We moved him into a twin sized bed, he had a toddler bed but he just didn't have enough room in it width wise.
