I've also had panic attacks that sent me to the ER. One with chest pains tho my

heart checked out fine. I just thought it was the domestic violence situation I

was living in at the time caused by my mentally/physically ill husband. But

that's when my doctor discovered the hypoT too. I've also had Post Traumatic

Stress Disorder (PTSD) with it.

Yes, hypo and hyper thyroid both can cause anxiety. I used to have panic

attacks that I once went to the ER for as I couldn't breathe.

Yes ....anxiety can causd by hypo-thyroid.Been there .....
