Heel not seated in shoe

I am sorry to post again; I have so many questions and I have gotten

such wonderful feedback from all of you!!

I read on this board that if a foot is not fully corrected then the

shoes do not work. Yesterday, my husband cut holes in the backs of my

son's Markell shoes. We noticed that the heels were not touching

the bottoms of the shoes. After several attempts to seat his feet

properly, we gave up. It seems that his heels just won't go down. My

son hashad two tenotomy operations and his heel is still tight. I

have contacted and he is going to make us a pair of

shoes. YAY!!! :)However, I am wondering if they will work right now

since his foot is not sitting in his current shoe correctly. Any

ideas/advice?

Thank you!
