I was wondering if you have received any info on what is causing

the ice-pick. ... I also feel like I have an ice-pick! sticking into

my backside and if I make a wrong move it sends electric shocks down

my rt leg.

------------

WHERE does the ice-pick feel like it is sticking?

A very sharp, stabbing pain in the middle of the butt muscle,

followed by shooting pains down the side of the leg, is very

suggestive of a sciatic nerve compression or impingement.

Side note to Cindy C - Is " butt muscle " easier to understand than

Gluteus Medius?

Side note to Everyone Else - Cindy took me to task while I was in

Detroit for sometimes getting too technical on some of my posts.

Actually Mike, it's not in the muscle at all for me. I've had sciatic problems

before and this is nothing like that was. This is a serious sharp, shooting pain

in the rectum. Much like sitting on a dagger. The pain in my right thigh is

always in the front, not down the back.

Dylan had the same thing yesterday. He yelled out AAAHHHHHH S..t. He said it

felt like a knife stuck him in the rectum. Wonder what that is? Cindy C.
