Guest guest
I have 8 amalgam fillings, at least 2 of which teeth are painful right now & need attention. I also have a 2yr old who is still nursing, although eats very well too. My oldest is autistic, & regressed when weaned, & I nursed my 2nd son for a long time as well, so I have not wanted to wean her. These teeth need attention & I'd rather the amalgams come out; if not all, at least the ones that hurt. At her age, is it possible to give her extra vitamins or something (she gets 500mg C, 1/2 Transfer Factor, & 1 Lacto GG Acidophilus every day) so she can detox & I can get rid of these safely for both of us? Thanks, Michele
Guest guest
As a follow up to my original post (below) I saw the dentist today & he said my amalgams are erroding, which would explain the metal taste in my mouth which has been going on for a long time now. He does removals in " blocks " ; being I have 8, he would remove 4 at a time in a 2week period. Since the 2 yr old is still nursing, he said to have them out first thing in the AM, pump during the day a bit, & she'd be okay to nurse by evening. He said my fillings are above the gum line, which isn't as bad. Has anyone used Dr. Tjon-Ajong in Ridgewood New Jersey for amalgam removal? I found him by word of mouth & he is well known in the area for amalgam removal, so I believe he is to be trusted. If anyone has had experience with him, please write me privately. I do believe I am going to go ahead with this. Thanks, Michele > I have 8 amalgam fillings, at least 2 of which teeth are painful right now & > need attention. Guest guest
I would have serious doubts there and wait until you have stopped nursing her. Dagmar.
