Guest guest
Pam Don't be hard on yourself. Yes, we get the service for free but does that mean we should get inferiour service? Not at all! The Shriners Hospitals are known to be some of the best hospitals around with some of the best doctors in their fields. No one, wheather they pay or not should feel like they deserve anything less then the best care for themselves and their families. This is North America! We live in the richest country in the world, we pride ourselves on being fair and non-judgmental, or at least as a Canadian I believe both Canada and the States are similar in that belief. You should expect the best care. There is no way we would expect to get poor service from our dentist, or our car repair man, or our family doctor. Don't expect less from the Shriners. All 4 of my children go to the Shriners for treatments for Brittle Bones. I know they are the best Hospitals and have the best doctors. I have never found doctors as good and as knowledgeable as I have found at the Shriners, in both Canada and here. So good for you in being brave enough to step up and talk to Dr. Dobbs. He needs to know from us if his team is with him or not, so that he can provide us with the best care he has been trained to give our children. Bravo! pammi_kay pammi_kay@...> wrote: The information here helps me to make informed decisions for 's care. It's been helping me do that for almost 3 years now! Thanks for the encouragement. It bothers me to vent or complain considering it's Shriner's. Did you get my reply to your e-mail? Pam and (8-12-01) > Pam- > > I totally understand your frustration.
