Guest guest
I don't know exactly if we are going to be able to go and see him or not but he is a great guy. He has responded to all of my emails very quickly and seems very dedicated to the Ponseti Method. Thanks!!! , Mommy to 2 1/2, bilateral clubfoot

Guest guest
Dr. Colburn is my son's doctor. You will never find another doctor finer and more capable than Dr. Colburn, unless of course, you are fortunate enough to meet Dr. Ponseti. You should do everything you can to see Dr. Colburn. There are an amazing number of mistakes revealed on this board by parents seeking help with problems, etc. Minimize your chances of relapse or complications by seeing the best. My son's feet are perfect. Eddie and Jordan 4-9-00 (on the road to surgery, rescued by Dr. Colburn, and this group) Thank you to all who reccomended Dr. Colburn I don't know exactly if we are going to be able to go and see him or not but he is a great guy. Guest guest
Oh, we have met Dr. Ponseti, that is who we went to for our inital correction, and one relapse. My husband and I are actually considering Iowa, since either way we are going to be paying for the services, may as well go to the BEST We live in Los Angeles, so flying/driving out for a checkup hasn't been the easiest. I wish it wasn't so hard to find a local doctor that I actually trusted. > Dr. Colburn is my son's doctor. Guest guest
Dear , Good for you for contacting Dr. P and getting the correct diagnosis. This whole bit is so hard. I have been forced through my experience with Jordan's feet to start questioning all medical conventional wisdom. It's tiring, but worth it, I believe. 2 years ago when we saw Dr. Colburn, and Dr. Ponseti at Dr. C's Pleasanton office, I had a chance to talk with Mrs. Ponseti. She told me her husband considered Dr. Colburn as proficient in the Ponseti Method as he himself was. Pretty high praise. Either Dr. will be providing the best care possible. We drove four hours from Nipomo (1 hour north of Santa Barbara) to Pleasanton for our treatment. Big pain in the Patooty, so I can imagine you are not excited to drive 8 hours from Tarzana to Pleasanton. But I was thinking, if you wanted to take a midtrip break, you could always stop and visit with us in Nipomo. How many are there of you? There is a chance I could arrange for you to stay where my husband rents a room during the week (he commutes to the Bay Area) for next to nothing. He works in Sunnyvale, and the apartment is in Milpitas. That's about 1/2 hour below Pleasanton. There isn't anybody in the second bedroom at the moment. If you are interested, or if you just want to kick some ideas around, call me at or email me at eddieaurand@.... Good luck with your decisions! Eddie and Jordan Thank you to all who reccomended Dr. > Colburn > > > I don't know exactly if we are going to be able to go and see him or > not but he is a great guy.
