Kerry,

Don't be so hard on her. It's understandable she was concerned...cause she

thought you were taking blood pressure pills, right? and then when she hears

you aren't...I can understand her wanting to get this under control.

how long have you been on blood pressure meds before Armour?

sometimes folks know why they have high blood pressure - maybe

overweight/diet, kidney problems, heart disease in the family - do you know any

reason for

yours?

Yes, hypo can cause high blood pressure - but it seems to me that it is more

common to have low blood pressure and a low pulse rate when you are hypo.

What was your pulse today?

But if you had high blood pressure...and it WASN'T from hypo...then there is

your problem. You need the BP meds...and the doctor is right not to give you

Armour until that is corrected. It could cause harm with that type of blood

pressure that isn't being treated I think.

So let's see what some other folks say.

My BP has dropped on the Armour. Did she have you lay on your left and the

retest. If you were worried about appointment that can show in your blood

pressure. I know it does in mine. But I agree that she was right to be

worried about it.
