Guest guest
Black strap molasses (which would probably feed yeast, though) also contains iron. Guest guest
polysaccharide iron is gentle. Knowing B12 and folate status is important also. IN some cases, aversion to meat is related to high ammonia. [ ] How to increase iron? > Hi Tina, > > Dr. Carl Pfeiffer, MD, PhD (deceased) wrote in his books that individuals that don't like meat generally need vitamin B6 and zinc in order for their body's to properly metabolize meat protein. Would suggest that you supplement with B-complex, B6 and zinc to see if this helps him eat more meat. You could also get his urine tested for urine pyrroles. > > Another way to get iron is with an intramuscular injection. Celiac's often present with anemia. My daughter recently started a gf/cf diet. Since your son does not eat meat or egg yolks does the doctor think this is the cause of his anemia? Has he always been anemic? > > Because iron feeds pathogenic gut bugs (the day after my daughter was given two half doses of Gentle Iron she had a psychotic episode) it is not a good idea to supplement with iron if your son has yeast issues. However, Gentle Iron is not supposed to cause stomach upset or constipation like other iron supplements. My daughter's twin sister is also anemic, but less so, and she tolerated the Gentle Iron very well. It gave her lots of energy and made her feel better. > > Janet McAuley > > >Hello all.
