Guest guest
Hey , My doctor had my son (almost 11 mos/BL/16 hrs DBB) set at 45 degrees each foot for the first three months also. When we went from 23 hrs to 16 hrs, he told us that they really needed to be at 60 or 70 degrees. We were like--why didn't you tell us 3 months ago???? He just said it " looked right to him " when we first got the DBB. Needless to say, we are in the process of changing doctors. I would definately question the rotation. I was in the same situation as you- -I kept reading about 70 degrees and wondering if I was doing something wrong. Trust your instincts and ask questions. I wish I had trusted mine and changed doctors sooner. Callie > I was reading your tips... and I am confused about something. You said that clubfeet should be set at 70 degrees. has bilateral clubfeet and both of his feet are set at 45 degrees per our dr. recommendation. Now I am not sure if this is right. Should I question my dr???? > > 2/9/04 BLCF DBB 23/7 >
