Hello

Dr. Scher at the Hospital for Joint Diseases in NYC has been spoken of very

highly in this forum. I personally am seeing Dr. Herzenberg in land on

Friday. We live in North Jersey but I will go as far as I need to for the

best care (as I am sure any parent would). My son was casted the first time

at 6 days old. - GOOD LUCK.

Christian 1/30/04 (unilateral clubfoot) .

Hello,

I am seeing Dr. Feldman in lower Manhatten. So far he has been great.

is in his last cast, having had his tenotomy last Thursday. I went to see him

before was born, and was shown what to expect. However, I had done so

much research on the Ponseti method, that what they told me was nothing new.

Also the cost of that visit was $350.00. Medical aid did cover 80% of that

though, but I believe that not all medical aids will. This first visit was

rather unnecessary I thought, but it did get me comfortable with the physician

and his assistant Ella, who is really great with the baby.

Dr. Feldman is the Dr who treated Cotton, if you can find the website with

that story. (Sorry, I am a bit stupid with internet, and don't know how to find

it again... perhaps someone else can give you the address??)
