Guest guest
That would be terrific, Ginny. Still, I'd better be able to drive by then or I won't be around. You guys would have to visit me in the nearest psych unit cuz if I don't get my wings pretty soon I'll go nuts. Have a Happy too. Guest guest
Barbara, I would love to meet both you and Tricia. I have not been to the Boston area since I was a kid and we went there on a family vacation with my cousins! We had the best time, but Dad got the gout very, very bad for eating a five pound lobster. Mom and I were just talking about it yesterday and laughing, because a waitress stepped on his foot and we thought he was going to punch her he was in so much pain. I know it really is not funny, but my father was something of a five year old when he was sick and it really was kind of comical because he looked like a mobster!!!! It is amazing how men and women can act so different when they are ill. Anyhow I cannot wait to go there and meet as many people as I can. I know it is going to be a great time and look forward to going shopping and having a great time and meeting all my new friends. I just know that staying home and moping about feeling miserable all the time just does not help me nor will it help anyone else! I want to take a couple of days and really have a good time!!! I know that when Ginny and Donna go out they make the best of it, and I admire that! Last night I went to my Moms and we put together the bird house that I bought her for Christmas! It is over 60lbs. and did not want to do it on Christmas Day, so thought it was a good idea to do it before the holidays! I had a lot of pain while doing it, but it also was a lot of fun! It made both Mom and I feel like we really accomplished something and it was nice to see that we did not need anyone Else's help. It was like you with your garden. It may take some time, but it feels really great when we can do things for ourselves. It is a great accomplishment!!!!! Well I hope that you have a great day and are feeling better. I need to finish my mail and go and get ready to go to the store and to the wake tonight. I hope that I am able to take a small nap this afternoon. Take Care and know that I always wish you the best! LOL Always! Dawn BARBARA TORREY wrote: Dawn - Hmmmm, a May visit to Massachusetts? Maybe Tricia and I will be cured enough to drive to Boston by then....Whatcha think, Tricia? Will we be? I will take a pic of heather..and I can take pics of all the cats...lol. love you...GinnyDonna wrote: > Thats for sure...we are like a couple of kids laughing like loons and spending lots of money...well she does LOL then blames it on me hehehhe. But seriously, we both are aware of each others limitations and make the best of any situation...RSD is a reality and it has taken alot from our lives but both of us have realized that its not the absolute end of the world though sometimes all either of us wants to do is shut ourselves up in a dark room but having children that demand that you see the bright side sometimes means so much!Laughter is truly the best medicine, its good for you, it lifts your spirits and when you laugh you release endorphins (en-dolphins lol) which makes pain a little easier to bear. So, you would find she and I laughing hysterically at times..its the best feeling!I know that when Ginny and Donna go out they make the best of it, and I admire that! Dawn, sounds like you two had a wonderful time...all that bird houses attract in my area are squirrels and seagulls...the littler ones are afraid to linger very long...but my cats like to sit in the window and chatter when they DO fly by LOL!Last night I went to my Moms and we put together the bird house that I bought her for Christmas!
